Infiltrate
Infiltrate is the spy game for Atari 2600 developed by Apollo in 1982. You are a secret agent sent on an important mission to recover enemy documents. There are enemy assassins trying to stop you.
You move the joystick to move your character, left or right. Press the button to fire. You fire in the direction you are moving. When you are next to an elevator, you will automatically board it when it gets to your level unless your are pushing towards it, in which case you will walk across it. If you are on the same level with an assassin and there is no elevator between you, you can shoot him. If he shoots at you, you can pull down on the joystick to duck. You cannot shoot while ducked. If the assassin shoots or touches you, you lose a life.
There are 12 variations of Infiltrate -- six one-player games and six two-player games. You can choose the speed and intelligence of your enemies, and there is also a variation in which the assassins are invisible.Setting the difficulty switch in the 'B' position will limit the range of the enemy lasers. The 'A' position will allow their lasers to travel the width of the screen.
